May Gibbs' work has long held a very special place in Australian storytelling. Her iconic characters and illustrations reflect a unique interpretation of the bush and all its surroundings.
We were recently granted access to her archive and are proud to present a capsule range that highlights some of her most iconic characters and some of her lesser known work. A very nostalgic offering for the older ones & a forever new fan base for the young ones.
The Banksia Beanie in Dark Forest is made from 100% acrylic mohair and features a screen printed merrow edged patch on the front fold.
